This article investigates the changes in work ethos of Balinese who have worked on cruise ships and its implications for religious life and social culture. The study employs a qualitative research design and draws on interviews with Balinese who have worked on cruise ships. The results show that the experience of working on a cruise ship has led to changes in work ethos among Balinese. These changes have significant implications for their religious life and social culture. The article concludes by suggesting that these changes need to be taken into account when addressing issues related to work ethics, religious life, and social culture.
