Cloud-Based Intelligent Financial Systems for Real-Time Financial Analytics and Decision Intelligence

Dr. Mohammed Nuaimi , Department of Artificial Intelligence School of Computer Science and Technology Southwest Digital Innovation University Chengdu, Sichuan, China

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation of financial services has accelerated the adoption of cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), intelligent automation, and data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance. Conventional financial infrastructures often suffer from limited scalability, high operational costs, fragmented data management, and increasing cybersecurity risks, making them inadequate for modern financial ecosystems. Cloud-Based Intelligent Financial Systems (CBIFS) address these limitations by integrating cloud-native architectures with AI-driven analytics, event-driven processing, secure authentication frameworks, predictive intelligence, and automated workflow management. Such integration enables financial institutions to process massive transactional workloads while maintaining security, availability, and regulatory compliance.

This research reviews recent developments in intelligent financial systems by synthesizing contemporary studies on cloud computing, financial automation, predictive analytics, cybersecurity, AI-assisted decision support, DevSecOps, customer analytics, cloud orchestration, and enterprise digital transformation. Based exclusively on the provided literature, this paper proposes a comprehensive conceptual framework that integrates cloud infrastructure, intelligent analytics, Zero-Trust security, machine learning, business intelligence, and financial governance into a unified architecture. The proposed framework demonstrates how cloud-native technologies support secure transaction processing, fraud detection, intelligent customer segmentation, portfolio optimization, cloud cost governance, and automated compliance management. Furthermore, the paper discusses implementation challenges including security risks, interoperability issues, governance complexity, ethical AI adoption, and regulatory considerations.

The study concludes that intelligent cloud platforms represent the future foundation of financial institutions by enabling adaptive, scalable, secure, and data-centric financial services. The findings provide both theoretical insights and practical recommendations for researchers, financial organizations, cloud architects, and policymakers seeking resilient digital financial ecosystems.
