Vehicle–railway bridge collisions represent a persistent safety challenge that can compromise transportation infrastructure, interrupt railway operations, and generate substantial economic losses. Conventional bridge inspection and monitoring practices often rely on periodic inspections or isolated sensing mechanisms, limiting their ability to provide timely collision detection and predictive decision support. Recent developments in structural health monitoring, wireless sensing, intelligent video surveillance, and supervised machine learning have created opportunities for designing integrated monitoring systems capable of identifying collision events while simultaneously assessing infrastructure conditions and supporting proactive maintenance strategies. This paper proposes a Predictive Supervised Learning Architecture for Automated Vehicle–Railway Bridge Collision Detection, Monitoring, and Safety Optimization, which integrates heterogeneous sensing technologies, structural health monitoring, supervised classification algorithms, and predictive risk analysis into a unified decision-support framework. The proposed architecture combines visual monitoring, vibration sensing, synchronized wireless sensor networks, and intelligent data processing to distinguish collision events from normal operational conditions while estimating structural damage severity and recommending appropriate response actions. The framework further incorporates continuous learning mechanisms to improve prediction accuracy using historical infrastructure data and validated collision records. A comprehensive review of existing structural monitoring techniques demonstrates that although significant advances have been achieved in vibration-based damage detection, wireless monitoring, and bridge instrumentation, limited research has focused on integrating supervised learning with real-time railway bridge collision management.

The increasing adoption of Agile and DevOps development practices has transformed software delivery from periodic release cycles into continuous processes characterized by frequent code changes, automated integration, rapid deployment, and shortened feedback loops. These characteristics create significant challenges for conventional software testing because exhaustive manual validation is increasingly incompatible with development velocity and continuously changing application behavior. Artificial intelligence (AI) provides an opportunity to strengthen software testing through automated pattern recognition, classification, prediction, prioritization, and adaptive decision-making. This research and review paper examines the conceptual design of AI-enabled software testing frameworks for Agile and DevOps environments. Because the supplied literature primarily addresses AI and deep-learning techniques for automated detection and classification in signal-processing and medical domains, the studies are critically interpreted as methodological foundations rather than as direct software-testing evaluations. Their evidence demonstrates how convolutional neural networks, deep learning, automated prediction, and classification can transform complex data into actionable detection decisions (Abdelhameed et al., 2018; Acharya et al., 2018; Ahmedt-Aristizabal et al., 2018). The framework proposed in this paper integrates AI-based test generation, test prioritization, defect-risk prediction, continuous feedback, and adaptive regression testing into the Agile-DevOps pipeline. The analysis indicates that AI can potentially reduce redundant testing, improve the prioritization of high-risk test cases, and support continuous quality assessment. However, model explainability, training-data quality, false positives, integration complexity, and insufficient domain-specific evidence remain important limitations. Ramamurthy (2023) further supports the positioning of AI-driven automation as a mechanism for modern software quality engineering. The paper concludes that AI should be implemented as an adaptive decision-support layer within—not as a replacement for—the broader software testing lifecycle.

Core–periphery analysis has become a fundamental research area in network science because it enables the identification of densely interconnected core nodes and sparsely connected peripheral nodes that collectively influence the structural and functional characteristics of complex systems. Traditional approaches primarily rely on graph topology, shortest paths, spectral decomposition, and community structures to identify core–periphery organization. However, these methods often struggle to simultaneously capture local neighborhood interactions and global structural importance, particularly in heterogeneous real-world networks. Recent developments in neighborhood-based bridge node centrality provide an alternative mechanism for evaluating node significance by incorporating neighborhood influence together with bridge connectivity, thereby offering richer structural information than conventional centrality measures. Nevertheless, the multidimensional nature of bridge node centrality tuples introduces redundancy and correlation among variables, making direct interpretation and classification challenging.

This review research proposes a Principal Component Analysis (PCA)-based framework for core–periphery detection using Neighborhood Bridge Node Centrality (NBNC). Rather than introducing a new computational algorithm, the study synthesizes existing theoretical developments in core–periphery analysis, principal component analysis, bridge node centrality, and complex network analytics to establish a unified analytical framework suitable for heterogeneous network environments. PCA is employed conceptually as a dimensionality reduction technique capable of transforming correlated neighborhood bridge indicators into orthogonal principal components that preserve maximum structural variance while improving interpretability and computational efficiency.

The proposed framework integrates neighborhood structural descriptors with principal component extraction to generate composite node representations that facilitate more accurate discrimination between core and peripheral nodes. The analysis indicates that PCA-based feature transformation can improve robustness against redundant structural variables while preserving meaningful topological information necessary for identifying influential network components. Furthermore, the framework demonstrates potential applicability across social networks, communication infrastructures, biological interaction systems, transportation networks, and information diffusion models where bridge nodes play critical roles in maintaining network connectivity.

The review also critically evaluates existing methodologies, identifies current research gaps, discusses methodological strengths and limitations, and proposes future research directions involving multiplex networks, dynamic graph analysis, and machine learning-assisted network classification. The study contributes a comprehensive theoretical foundation that bridges statistical dimensionality reduction with modern network centrality analysis and provides an academically rigorous reference for future investigations into scalable and interpretable core–periphery detection methods.

The digital transformation of construction increasingly depends on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), data-driven decision systems, and robotics to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and adaptability. However, the scalability of such technologies remains constrained by fragmented workflows, inconsistent data structures, limited predictive capabilities, and insufficient integration between intelligent software and physical construction processes. This research and review paper develops a conceptual framework for scalable AI- and robotics-enabled transformation of sustainable construction by synthesizing insights from the provided literature on machine learning, artificial neural networks, learning analytics, predictive modeling, digital engagement, and intelligent automation. Although the reviewed studies primarily address educational and information-system environments, their methodological principles provide transferable foundations for construction applications, particularly in predictive analytics, performance monitoring, early-warning systems, adaptive decision-making, and human–technology interaction. The proposed framework conceptualizes construction transformation as a continuous intelligence cycle involving data acquisition, AI-based prediction, decision optimization, robotic execution, performance evaluation, and feedback. The analysis indicates that scalability is not determined solely by computational capability but by the ability to connect predictive intelligence with operational processes and human decision-making. The study further identifies challenges related to data quality, interoperability, explainability, workforce adaptation, and implementation complexity. The framework provides a theoretical basis for integrating AI and robotics into sustainable construction while emphasizing measurable operational and environmental outcomes.

The increasing complexity of data-driven decision environments requires artificial intelligence systems that can integrate heterogeneous information, represent decision-relevant knowledge, and support decisions that remain interpretable, scalable, and aligned with sustainability objectives. This paper examines a conceptual architecture for scalable semantic AI systems designed to transform heterogeneous data into structured decision intelligence for sustainable organizational and policy-oriented decision-making. The study adopts a research-and-review methodology based exclusively on the supplied literature, particularly research on automated justification, judgment aggregation, preference aggregation, strategyproof decision mechanisms, computational social choice, and semantic AI infrastructure. The reviewed literature demonstrates that scalable decision intelligence requires more than computational efficiency: it also requires mechanisms for representing preferences, resolving conflicting judgments, explaining outcomes, and validating decision procedures. The proposed framework therefore integrates semantic representation, evidence transformation, preference-aware reasoning, constraint-based validation, collective judgment aggregation, and explainable decision outputs. The analysis indicates that automated reasoning and computational social choice provide useful theoretical foundations for handling conflicting stakeholder objectives, while semantic infrastructure can provide the connective layer required to operationalize these mechanisms over heterogeneous data environments. The paper further identifies transparency, preference conflicts, computational scalability, semantic consistency, and governance as central design challenges. The resulting framework positions sustainable decision intelligence as an integrated socio-technical capability rather than merely an AI prediction function.

The increasing interconnectivity, elasticity, and distributed architecture of cloud networks have created a security environment in which conventional intrusion detection approaches face difficulties in representing dynamic relationships among users, virtual machines, workloads, services, and network flows. This paper proposes an Adaptive Graph Neural Network (AGNN) Model for real-time intrusion and cyber threat detection in cloud networks. The proposed approach represents cloud infrastructure as a dynamic attributed graph and combines graph-based relational learning, adaptive representation updating, attention mechanisms, transfer-learning principles, and risk-oriented classification. The methodological foundation is informed by the data-centric perspective of machine learning (Emmert-Streib & Dehmer, 2022), deep transfer learning (Bashath et al., 2022), attention-based neural architectures (Cui et al., 2016), and transformer-based representation learning (Devlin et al., 2018; Clark et al., 2020). Experimental-design principles are incorporated to support systematic configuration and evaluation (Barker & Milivojevich, 2016; Cox & Reid, 2000). The framework further builds upon graph-based cyber-threat learning demonstrated for cloud platforms by Marri et al. (2025). The proposed model dynamically updates node and edge representations as network conditions change, enabling detection of anomalous communication patterns, compromised entities, lateral movement, and coordinated attacks. The findings indicate that a graph-oriented adaptive architecture provides a stronger theoretical basis for cloud intrusion detection than isolated feature-based classification because security decisions can incorporate both entity-level behavior and relational context. The principal contribution is an integrated framework that connects dynamic graph construction, adaptive graph representation, threat classification, and risk analysis within a real-time cloud-security pipeline.

The rapid deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) across distributed environments has created a need for computing architectures capable of simultaneously supporting low-latency inference, scalable model execution, communication efficiency, privacy, and reliable decision automation. Conventional cloud-centric AI architectures provide substantial computational capacity but can introduce communication delays, bandwidth dependency, privacy exposure, and service disruption risks when real-time decisions must be generated close to data sources. Edge-cloud AI computing addresses these limitations by distributing inference, coordination, and computational workloads across edge devices and cloud infrastructure. This research and review article develops a robust conceptual framework for real-time edge-cloud AI inference and decision automation by synthesizing research on federated learning, communication compression, heterogeneous model aggregation, blockchain-enabled healthcare systems, reinforcement learning, and distributed AI pipelines. The analysis identifies communication efficiency, heterogeneous computational capabilities, privacy preservation, adaptive resource allocation, and resilient inference coordination as the principal architectural requirements. The proposed framework integrates edge-level preprocessing and inference, adaptive communication, cloud-level model coordination, and automated decision orchestration. Findings indicate that compression and knowledge distillation can reduce communication burdens, while heterogeneous aggregation and adaptive learning mechanisms improve the practicality of distributed AI environments. Reinforcement learning further provides a mechanism for dynamic resource and decision optimization. However, the framework remains constrained by device heterogeneity, synchronization overhead, model inconsistency, security requirements, and the trade-off between inference accuracy and latency. The study establishes an integrated theoretical foundation for designing scalable and resilient edge-cloud AI systems capable of supporting real-time intelligent decision processes.

The rapid expansion of educational big data has created new opportunities for intelligent monitoring, predictive analysis, and proactive intervention in academic management systems. However, identifying abnormal student behaviors from large-scale heterogeneous educational datasets remains a challenging problem due to complex behavioral patterns, high-dimensional data structures, and evolving learning environments. This research proposes an Intelligent Isolation Forest Framework for Student Behavior Anomaly Detection in Educational Big Data Analytics, designed to detect irregular behavioral patterns through optimized unsupervised learning mechanisms. The proposed framework integrates educational data preprocessing, behavioral feature representation, isolation-based anomaly scoring, and adaptive pattern interpretation to enhance the identification of students exhibiting unusual academic or engagement behaviors. The theoretical foundation is based on anomaly detection principles and ensemble learning strategies, where isolation mechanisms are optimized for educational environments characterized by diverse behavioral attributes. Existing studies on student risk identification, ensemble algorithms, activity recognition, and iForest-based detection provide valuable foundations for developing intelligent educational analytics solutions (Gupta et al., 2022; Wu et al., 2021). The framework contributes to educational management by enabling early identification of potential learning difficulties, supporting personalized interventions, and improving decision-making efficiency. The research further analyzes the effectiveness, limitations, and practical implications of applying isolation-based intelligence to educational big data environments.

Modern software systems increasingly operate under dynamic requirements, heterogeneous dependencies, evolving architectures, and continuous performance constraints. These conditions challenge conventional software engineering approaches that treat program structure, dependencies, optimization, and adaptation as relatively stable processes. This paper proposes GraphEvoSE, an evolutionary graph intelligence framework for self-adaptive software development and optimization. The framework represents software artifacts, dependencies, execution relationships, quality attributes, and environmental constraints as a dynamic attributed graph and employs evolutionary search to identify and prioritize adaptive transformations. Its theoretical foundation is derived through cross-domain synthesis of the supplied literature, particularly studies demonstrating how structural relationships, interfaces, transport phenomena, and evolving material states influence system behavior. The framework incorporates graph construction, state monitoring, dependency-aware representation, evolutionary candidate generation, multi-objective evaluation, and feedback-driven adaptation. The conceptual analysis indicates that graph-based representation can provide greater structural awareness than isolated component-level optimization, while evolutionary search can support exploration of competing adaptation alternatives. The study further positions self-adaptation as a closed-loop process in which software architecture is continuously evaluated against functional and non-functional objectives. The proposed framework extends the evolutionary graph-reasoning perspective presented by Ramamurthy, Konduru, and Amanmadov (2026) toward a broader software development and optimization setting. The resulting model provides a research foundation for adaptive refactoring, dependency optimization, architectural evolution, and intelligent software maintenance, while recognizing limitations associated with graph-construction cost, search complexity, dynamic observability, and the absence of direct empirical validation in the present conceptual study.

This research proposes a Collaborative Financial Intelligence Framework (CFIF) that integrates artificial intelligence, privacy-aware analytics, and secure information protection mechanisms.

The proposed framework enables financial organizations to collaboratively generate insights while maintaining control over sensitive information. It combines intelligent decision models, regulatory-aware processing, and secure data management techniques to support applications such as risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and financial forecasting. The concept is aligned with emerging federated financial ecosystems that enable cross-institutional learning while preserving data sovereignty (Arifin Shawn et al., 2025).

The framework highlights the importance of balancing analytical performance with privacy preservation. The increasing deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in healthcare, industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), intelligent transportation, and next-generation wireless systems has created a demand for inference architectures that simultaneously provide low latency, scalability, privacy, reliability, and efficient resource utilization. Conventional cloud-centric inference architectures provide substantial computational capacity but can introduce network latency, bandwidth consumption, privacy exposure, and dependence on centralized infrastructure. Edge computing addresses several of these limitations by relocating computation closer to data sources, while cloud environments remain important for computationally intensive and globally coordinated workloads. This research examines a scalable edge-to-cloud AI inference pipeline in which inference tasks are dynamically distributed across heterogeneous edge and cloud resources. The methodology synthesizes the provided literature on federated learning, edge resource allocation, dynamic scheduling, privacy preservation, machine learning for 6G, IIoT, and secure healthcare systems. A layered architectural model is developed around workload characterization, adaptive task placement, communication-aware scheduling, privacy protection, and resilient orchestration. The analysis indicates that scalability is not achieved merely by adding computational resources; rather, it depends on coordinated optimization of computation, communication, privacy, and scheduling. The proposed conceptual framework positions edge inference as the first computational layer, cloud inference as an elastic computational layer, and intelligent orchestration as the mechanism connecting the two. The resulting architecture provides a basis for resilient real-time AI systems while highlighting unresolved challenges involving heterogeneous hardware, dynamic workloads, privacy-utility trade-offs, and cross-layer optimization.

The rapid integration of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), cyber-physical systems, intelligent sensors, and connected manufacturing platforms has created highly distributed industrial environments in which cybersecurity must operate under stringent requirements for privacy, low latency, interpretability, and operational continuity. Conventional centralized machine-learning-based intrusion detection requires the aggregation of potentially sensitive industrial data, creating additional privacy and data-governance risks. Federated learning (FL) provides an alternative paradigm in which participating industrial nodes collaboratively train a shared model without directly exchanging their raw observations. However, privacy preservation alone is insufficient for industrial cybersecurity because security operators must understand why a model has classified an industrial event as malicious or anomalous. This paper develops a research-oriented framework for explainable federated learning (XFL) for privacy-preserving cybersecurity in IIoT and smart-factory environments. The proposed methodology integrates distributed model training, feature-selection and dimensionality-reduction principles, explainable decision analysis, and evaluation using classification-oriented performance measures. The framework is conceptually grounded in established studies of feature selection, dimensionality reduction, machine learning, and evaluation metrics. Mutual-information-based feature selection is positioned as a mechanism for reducing redundant industrial telemetry while preserving discriminative information, whereas dimensionality reduction is used to address high-dimensional and heterogeneous observations. Federated aggregation enables collaborative learning while limiting direct data exchange. An explanation layer subsequently identifies the principal features influencing individual security decisions, improving analyst trust and operational interpretability. The resulting framework is particularly relevant to heterogeneous smart factories where data distributions, device capabilities, and attack patterns may vary considerably across participating sites. The analysis demonstrates that explainability, privacy preservation, dimensionality management, and predictive performance should be treated as interconnected design objectives rather than isolated components. The study also identifies limitations associated with heterogeneous client distributions, computational overhead, explanation fidelity, and the absence of direct empirical validation in a deployed industrial environment.

This research and review paper examines how robotics and large language models (LLMs) can be conceptually integrated into sustainable construction operations through a layered digital transformation framework. Because the supplied literature primarily addresses computer vision, automated defect detection, machine learning, image classification, and human fatigue rather than construction-specific LLM applications, the paper develops a theoretically grounded synthesis that transfers these capabilities into construction contexts without attributing unsupported findings to the cited studies. The proposed framework connects four functional layers: visual perception and condition assessment, intelligent interpretation and reasoning, robotic execution, and sustainability-oriented operational feedback. Computer-vision research demonstrates the feasibility of automated visual recognition and defect classification, while machine-learning studies establish the importance of automated inspection and pattern recognition (Ghorai et al., 2012; Krummenacher et al., 2017). Large-scale image-recognition research further provides a foundation for scalable perception systems (Deng et al., 2009; Russakovsky et al., 2015). The paper argues that LLMs can function as an orchestration and knowledge-interface layer between human operators, perception systems, and robotic platforms, while robotics provides the physical execution capability required to transform digital decisions into construction actions. Findings indicate that the strongest transformation potential arises not from replacing individual construction functions, but from integrating perception, reasoning, and physical action into a closed-loop cyber-physical workflow. This research and review paper develops a conceptual framework for cloud-native multi-tenant data lakes in which intelligent workload orchestration is integrated with elastic infrastructure management, tenant-aware resource allocation, explainability, and data-quality considerations. The study synthesizes the provided literature on explainable AI, human-centered AI systems, analogy-based reasoning, cognitive bias, crowdsourced knowledge generation, and collaborative decision-making, while positioning these concepts within an intelligent data-lake orchestration model. Brain–computer interface (BCI) technology has emerged as a transformative communication paradigm by enabling direct interaction between the human brain and external computing systems. Electroencephalography (EEG)-based BCIs, particularly P300 speller systems, have demonstrated considerable potential for assistive communication, neurorehabilitation, and intelligent human–computer interaction. However, the high dimensionality of EEG recordings, redundancy among channels, and susceptibility to noise significantly reduce classification accuracy while increasing computational complexity. Consequently, intelligent channel selection has become a critical research area for improving the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of EEG-based BCI systems. This review synthesizes recent developments in computational intelligence approaches for channel selection, including filter, wrapper, embedded, hybrid, and deep learning-based techniques. The article critically examines theoretical foundations, algorithmic characteristics, performance trade-offs, and practical implications of these approaches within modern BCI environments. Furthermore, an integrated intelligent computational framework is proposed to explain how advanced computational intelligence can optimize channel selection while balancing classification accuracy, computational cost, and real-time processing requirements. Comparative analysis of existing studies demonstrates that hybrid computational intelligence strategies consistently outperform conventional statistical approaches by effectively capturing nonlinear EEG relationships and adaptive channel importance. The review also identifies current research challenges involving subject variability, model interpretability, computational scalability, and deployment in real-world clinical environments. Overall, Intelligent Channel Selection Using Advanced Computational Intelligence Methods provides a comprehensive research perspective that supports future development of adaptive, explainable, and computationally efficient EEG signal processing systems.

Large-scale decision problems increasingly involve heterogeneous data, interacting constraints, uncertain operating conditions, and multiple competing objectives. Conventional optimization systems can provide mathematically rigorous solutions, but their effectiveness may depend on structured problem representations that are difficult to construct when operational knowledge is expressed in natural language, visual observations, or domain-specific descriptions. This paper proposes ScaleSolve, a generative large language model (LLM) framework designed to connect natural-language problem specifications with constraint reasoning, optimization formulation, solution evaluation, and decision interpretation. The framework is conceptually positioned around five functional layers: problem interpretation, constraint extraction, optimization modeling, candidate-solution evaluation, and decision explanation. The literature supplied for this study primarily concerns food processing, drying kinetics, computer vision, image analysis, preprocessing, and quality optimization. These studies provide an important application foundation because drying and postharvest processing involve interacting physical, quality, process, and resource constraints. The proposed framework therefore demonstrates how heterogeneous observations can be translated into structured decision variables and constraints. The conceptual analysis indicates that LLM-based reasoning can improve accessibility and adaptability of large-scale optimization workflows, while numerical validation, constraint verification, and domain-specific objective functions remain necessary to prevent plausible but infeasible decisions. The framework contributes a research-oriented architecture for integrating generative reasoning with optimization rather than treating an LLM as an autonomous optimization engine.
